TEAM-CBT, which is a type of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
PACT - Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy
All three of these therapies are rooted in research and evidence-based approaches that are designed to provide relief and results as quickly as possible. While I cannot promise or guarantee results, most clients experience improvement in the very first session or the first one to three sessions.
More Information on TEAM-CBT and My Teaching
I practice a particular form of CBT, called TEAM-CBT. I have trained extensively in TEAM-CBT and am also a small group leader and teacher in a weekly professional training group for therapists, led by Dr. David Burns, founder of TEAM-CBT. This training and Dr. Burns are affiliated with Stanford University. If you are a therapist and want to learn more about training with me, please click here: Teaching
TEAM-CBT is one of the most fast-acting therapies available today. While its roots are in Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, it also pulls together some of the most effective techniques from over 12 different types of therapy. As a result, TEAM-CBT is fast-acting, long-lasting and extremely comprehensive. TEAM stands for different stages of the treatment process (Testing, Empathy, Agenda-Setting, and Methods).
